چکیده
A new 2D-hybrid model in cylindrical coordinates intended for the study of a transient magneto-thermal coupled problem is proposed. This used to evaluate spatiotemporal distribution temperature rotating aluminum billets heated by permanent magnets induction-heating device (PMIHD). The proposed hybrid consists coupling an exact analytical solution 2D magneto-harmonic field thermal analysis where dependence electrical and physical properties billet considered. Based on separation variables technique, serves induced current resulting power density loss nonmagnetic billet. Furthermore, analysis, based lumped network model, developed radial axial directions In order validate performances studied PMIHD are compared with those obtained Finite Element Method (FEM).

Induction Heating of Aluminium Billets with linear motion in a Strong DC Magnetic Field : Magneto - Thermal Analysis in
— This paper presents a new structure of an induction heater for aluminium billets. The device consists in using a strong DC magnetic field created by a superconducting inductor in which the conducting billet is actuated by a linear motion at a constant velocity. The analysis, based on the analytical model for the magnetic field in the billet, has been developed, and then the eddy currents and ...
متن کاملRotating magneto-thermoelastic rod with finite length due to moving heat sources via Eringen’s nonlocal model
The article is concerned with a new nonlocal model based on Eringen’s nonlocal elasticity and generalized thermoelasticity. A study is made of the magneto-thermoelastic waves in an isotropic conducting thermoelastic finite rod subjected to moving heat sources permeated by a primary uniform magnetic field and rotating with a uniform angular velocity. The Laplace transform technique with respect ...
متن کاملThermal evolution of rotating hybrid stars
As a neutron star spins down, the nuclear matter continuously is converted into quark matter due to the core density increase and then latent heat is released. We have investigated the thermal evolution of neutron stars undergoing such deconfinement phase transition. We have taken into account the conversion in the frame of the general theory of relativity. The released energy has been estimate...

متن کامل2D Magneto-Thermal Modeling of Coated High-Temperature Superconductors
Thin films are very promising for the design of novel and efficient Fault Current Limiter (FCL) made of high-temperature superconductors (HTS). However, their thermal and highly non-linear electromagnetic behavior in the presence of over-critical currents is crucial to their use in future electrical grid. In this paper, we propose a numerical approach to solve magneto-thermal models for geometr...
